Having mental disorders sucks! I haven't been able to pick myself up since start of June! Thank God my dad is coming here next week so he can kick my as an kick start again!
For some of you who doesn't know, i have an depression, panic disorder and apparently adhd (the concentrate issue, not the overly energetic one)
But the good news is, that i haven't started my unhealthy eating habits and i weigh 66.9kg.
So i've lost 1kg by eating turkish yogurt with bananas or strawberries? hmph, who knew?
I feel so tired all the time and barely even workout... I have to like force myself to do at least something, and after that i'll be really tired!
Well, i haven't really stopped eating healthy or started eating junk food. So that's good. I also learned today that rye bread isn't healthy... Nice, i've been eating it a lot for breakfast! Well, i guess i have to start doing some research of healthy foods, but in the meanwhile i'll be studying Joanna Soh's pages:
http://www.joannasoh.com/
I fell in love with the workout videos, i'm gonna link here couple of her videos that i'm gonna be trying as soon as i get my strength back.
I will combine these 2 workouts together, add walking/jogging and follow the meal plan. Hopefully i'll get my strength back. Even so, i'll start this at 17th of june.
I gotta find some answer for this tiredness... in the meanwhile, happy workout times!
Hey you guys! I have some awesome news again, i just weigh myself in the morning and 67,1kg popped on the scale!!! I can't believe this... Just about a week ago i was 69,2kg and then i started to do this new method, where i exercise one day and keep one day off and so on (For example, Monday=workout, Tuesday=day off, Wednesday=workout....) And apparently it worked? Also i started to drink more water, i actually don't drink anything else than water if i'm thirsty. And when i'm not.
I guess the sweating helps too? I've been soaking up the sun every time we have it up in here.
Not much of a sauna person, but my boyfriend wanted to go so we went to sauna yesterday. I of course had a bucket of ice cold water next to me.
Like 3 days ago, i tried this new workout (again) and it was hard! Or maybe i'm just a sissy.
But try it out! Challenge yourself, or you'll never know what you're capable of!
Half beginner version and half the harder way. I thought the other one i used to do was hard, but i almost died doing that! Haha.
(for you who don't know:
I'm talking about this)
Btw, i finally found something that cure my salt cravings: Non-salted peanuts!
I'm writing this half dead after that workout so i'm not really making any sense am i? Anyway, this whole thing is so worth it, i can see the changes in my weist and legs!
I'm so happy right now! Not only i fit in Medium size clothes, i've lost 2kg in a month! only 500g to reach my end of this moths goal, but i guess i've done way too much muscle train! Well, atleast i've lost something?
You have no idea how good this felt to step on the scale and see this!! I had to triple check that is my scale lying to me? But no, it really is true.
I've also soaked up the sun and looking nicely and naturally tanned.
Now it's just cloudy and cold, but atleast i got 2 nice and sunny days. That's the problem with north.
I got thinking few days back, since it's summer and i had really dark brown hair that it's time to get myself a summer hair, so i took one light bleaching in my hair and it looks more brighter now!
Eventually i wanna go light brown, but i don't wanna torture my hair for awhile. So they're gonna look like this now.
I tried some new workout video the other day and i have to say, it was hard to keep up with the moves! I challenge you to do this and try to keep up with them!!
Yeah, it's hard! I got frustrated after +30min...
I have some good news for bacon and eggs -fans. A lot of you seem to think bacon is bad for you. But if you look closely the package, you can see, it has no calories, just good fats! If you choose the right bacon that is.... But instead of soaking everything with butter in frying pan, just put the bacon and eggs in the oven, place the bacon on top of the eggs so you don't need to use salt in the eggs. I tried that myself and it was awesome!
Happy workout times everyone, see you soon enough !
Even though i can't see my weight loss in the scale, i most definitely see it on my waist and stomach. And the feeling after hard workout is just awesome, every sweat drop means more calories burning. So it doesn't make me depressed to not seeing it on scale, cuz i know as i train my muscles get bigger too, so that ads more weight.
Today i've cleaned little bit and did this workout video on youtube again:
I would've gone out for a jog, but the weather just sucks!
Now i'm gonna fix up some breakfast and see what the day brings me. Sorry to have such a short blog today!
I don't know about you guys, but Michelle Minks body is perfection!
She has the body i want and the body i'm GONNA have! To you who doesn't know who Michelle is, she is a body builder/model. And no one knows this, but when i'm in shape, i wanna be a fitness model/light weight body builder.
That's why i took Michelle's workout advice and started doing this:
Today was my second time to do this, and the fun part is, that this workout is a lots of fun and doesn't feel like a workout, but it makes me sweat more than i've ever sweat in workout!
And if you do this, please remember to stretch at the end with the girls, cuz even when i did, i was so dead the next day i had to do yoga stretches to ease the pain...
They say loosing weight doesn't happen over night. But it really is depressing when you go on a scale after having 1 day off from working out (still eating healthy) and see you gain 1kg...
I guess i have to step it up! Cuz now i have 1,9kg to loose at the end of the month. Haven't done any workouts in the evening time but i guess there's a first time for everything? Cuz now i'm going to pump it up on the road like a maniac!
Yesterday, when all my muscles were sore i did some yoga and it really helped, but the video was so weird you guys...
I don't wanna judge, but it really was weird, but it helped so... i guess that's all that matters?
I also got a new obsession:
Now i don't know what the official name of these open-sides tops are, but i loooove love love them! I even made one of my own!
I'll probably look better in them when i'm skinnier but they look just fine to me right now too.
I think i haven't told you about my protein products?
Those protein diet puddings really taste awesome! And something i tried in Stockholm was pretty awesome too!
Who knew you can have protein pancakes? They taste even like pancakes! I personally don't eat anything with them but i bet some strawberries or bananas would taste awesome with it?
After awhile when you've started to eat healthy the same food starts to taste bad. Like when i started this journey, i ate a lot of tuna and cottage cheese and now i feel sick even thinking about tuna. So i eat Cottage cheese with clams without shells. I never get tired of kiwis and bananas tho?
Hey everyone. My name is Sara and i'm from Finland, so my English is not gonna be perfect... I wanna start of by saying, i've tried to loose weight many times since 2010, but always ended up back in old habits... So this thing that i'm doing right now, is perfect for impatient people. Like me! My mistake in the past was that i was expecting big results in very short time. So when i failed, i got depressed (not with meds..) My dad was an inspiration of this change in my life. I'm gonna just say this to you who were searching a fast weight loss diet sh#t that this not one of those, this is a lifestyle changing requirement. And anyone can do this! So....
STEP ONE
Decide your goal. How much do you wanna loose weight? If it is around 20-25kg, i suggest you give it 8 months. If it's 25-30kg or more, give it a year. And of course weigh yourself before starting so you know your starting weigh.
TIP:
1kg is around 2,7LBS
STEP TWO
If you chose a year and yoi weigh around 25-30kg: deal the kilograms to 12
EXAMPLE
30/12=2,5kg
That means your goal for every month is to loose 2,5kg.
STEP THREE
Choose an exercise that you wanna do. Like walking? I don't recommend running if you have more than 20kg over weight, you will have the risk of hurting your knees.
STEP FOUR
START EXERCISING!!
To keep yourself motivated, remind yourself why did you start doing this? And it also helps if you have a picture of your dream body in everywhere you go. You walk past a donut shop and you start questioning yourself, just pick up your wallet and take the picture infront of you.
No, this is my favourite part of this. Since you don't have to loose tons of weight per month. You can have your cheat days once a month! And i've been doing this for 1 and a half month and i've had 1 cheat day in april and one cheat WEEKEND in may (this month) and i've still lost 6,3kg. My secret? well, let me tell you.
If the weather lets me, i go for a morning walk. But the difference is, that i skip the breakfast when i go for a walk. Why? It burns the already existing calories and fat in your body. And if it's a bad weather, i just do my cardio inside with the help of youtube.
Now, these are fun and something girls would enjoy! No remember, these also i do before breakfast, you don't have to, cuz you know... breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
And do NOT get me wrong, obviously i eat breakfast but only after my workout. And i eat a lot, a lot of good and healthy stuff.
you like omelets?
healthy way of eating omelet, is to take a tuna with oil (don't be afraid of the oil, it's only good fats in them) and squeeze it in the frying pan, then mix milk and eggs together and pour it in the pan, when it's hot. Then put the tuna in there. Remember to mix it all the time, don't let it get brown, unless you like it that way. AND DON'T USE SALT, TUNA HAS ALL THE FLAVOR YOU NEED.
you're a yogurt and fruit person?
I personally sometimes like to eat something sweat, for my sweat tooth i take unflavored yogurt and slice banana and kiwi in it A LOTS OF IT! But you don't have to use kiwis or bananas, you can use the fruits or berries that you like.
Meat is always good.
Shut your ears from those who say meat makes you fat, bacon and pork generally has really good fats in them and it doesn't "make you fat" it has 0 calories (unless it's marinade, avoid those) Best way to fry meat is in the oven, yes... bacon or any pork, in the oven, you get to avoid all the fat's you put in the frying pan, cuz the pork already has the fats you need.
For you who gets out of breath fast i recommend you buy amino acids.
You mix it with water before workout and drink it. It at least gives me nice boost before workout.
So i hope this intro was help full for you, and inspirational. Leave comment on below and let me know what you think!
Ps. I'm not a personal trainer or professional of fitness, this is all my creation and my research about exercise!
